APPRENTICESHIP FUNDAMENTAL TRAINING
WHAT TO EXPECT

What to expect: Our Apprenticeship Fundamental Training Program is part of the OSDH Oklahoma State Certified Program for Medical Micropigmentation, which means you'll still complete all requirements needed to become a licensed artist in Oklahoma. What's different is how we teach and how you'll learn.

This program is not about rushing through training or checking boxes. It's an immersive, hands-on-experience designed for people who are passionate, self-motivated, and ready to truly invest in their craft. Instead of large mid sized classes, training is now application-only and intentionally smaller, so that each apprenctice receives focused mentorship and one-on-one guidance.

Here's what you can expect:

*A Custom Learning Path: Your training schedule is designed around you. Whether you're balancing family, work or other commitments, you'll have the flexibility to move at your own pace while still being held accountable to your goals.

*Hands- On Experience: More time in the studio, more practice, and more opportunities to refine your technique until you feel confident and capable.

* Individualized Mentorship: You may train alongside one or two other apprentices, but this is not a "big class" environment. Each student is on their own path and schedule.

* High Standards: This program is for those who want to become artists, not just "get certified fast". You'll be expected to take initiative, complete homework, and fully commit to your growth.

* Supportive, Realistic Training: Some days you may be the only apprentice in the studio, and thats by design- this is about finding yourself as an artist and allows your mentor to hone in what you need the most and to make your time the most valuable while spending time in the studio through model procedures, shadowing your mentor, or time practicing while also working one on one with your mentor.

This approach allows students to marinate in the knowledge, revisit techniques, and build confidence before stepping out on their own. It's a slower, more thoughtful journey, but it produces stronger, more prepared artists.

Course length: 4-9 months | 300 hours |18 models minimum (must be found by student) and we encourage you to find more models than the 18 mimimum required.

Techniques learned: Lash Enhancement Eyeliner, Ombre Powder Brows, Lip Blushing. Students are also granted FREE access to our online academy during their training where they get access to our full curriculum of training materials, videos, workshops, community, and weekly coaching calls with artists from allover!

Students have the option to add on advanced techniques onto their apprenticeship learning schedule.

Class Schedule: Schedule designed and tailored to each apprentice. Apprenticeship time frame can be expected to last 4 months to 9 months depending on ability to complete 300 hours and how often they are able to come weekly. Days can vary depending on the week and is focused around what is being taught. This is more hands on and gives the student more time in studio and shadowing their mentor allowing them to really get a full experience of what it's like being a permanent makeup artist day in and day out. Apprentices can expect to have 1-2 other apprentices around them depending on the day and will also most likely be at a different learning schedule depending on their start date and availability.

Investment:

$10,500- $15,500+ depending on completion time/kit selection/ advanced training add ons

There is a setup fee for each model procedure of $150, which is paid by the model. These fees are not covered in tuition costs. State application fees/testing fees of $515 and $200 not included in tuition.

Customizable Student Kit: Kit is designed to fit student's needs and can be adjusted for you individually. Each apprentice will receive a thoughtfully curated, specifically tailored student kit- designed to set you up for success from day one. Every kit is tailored using Christa's personal favorite tools, as well as the highest performing products the PMU industry has to offer.

Depending on the kit design that you select and what's included in yours, a fully stocked kit would include an iPad and stylus pencil, a variety of pigment sets and needle configurations, a professional grade PMU machine, and all the essential tools and disposables you'll need for clinicals. We love teaching students how to use their iPads to design and draw looks for clients during after their time with us.
